SEC (Class assignment)

1) What do you understand about self awareness? Explain with example.

In simple terms, self-awareness is the ability to look in a mirror and truly understand what makes you tick. It is about stepping back to observe your own thoughts, emotions, triggers, and habits without judging yourself.
Think of it as becoming the author of your life story, instead of just a character reacting blindly to whatever happens next.

๐Ÿš— The Red Light Example;
Imagine you are driving and someone suddenly cuts you off in traffic.

Without self-awareness: You instantly slam on your horn, scream at the driver, and let that anger ruin the next two hours of your day.

With self-awareness : You feel the sudden surge of anger, but you catch yourself. You realize, "Wow, my heart is pounding. I’m furious, but reacting wildly won't change anything, and I don't want to carry this negative energy into my day." You take a deep breath and let it go.

By noticing your feelings before you react, you reclaim your power. You choose your response instead of letting your emotions drive the car.
